Day 12 – 13 Chilling in Kampala and moving on to Jinja

Time for another little update.

Day 12 – Chill in Kampala

Today we had one day in Kampala, Uganda’s capitol. There were a few options for things to do. Some rented bikes and went for a ride around town, other went on a guided half day tour, that seem to turn almost into a full day and some went to the mall for some shopping.

I and a few others spent the day chilling by the pool, it was hot and humid and it worked out great.

In the afternoon some of us went to Labanor bistro, a small restaurant just up the round and got the best meal and service I’ve had on this trip. A excellent end to the day.

Day 13 – Traveling to Jinja

Today was our very last day on the bus for this trip. We headed out of Kampala and toward Jinja where we are staying at the Nile River Explorers Camp.

Not a very long last leg, but enough for us to get a little bus party in.

We are staying three nights here before the bus continues toward Nairobi and we head home. The next few days will then be spent on water activities om the Nile. Should be a great end to a womderfull trip.

They always end up beeing to short, even when I did my long eight week trips earlier they always seem to short.
