Day 1 – Flying to Rio de Janeiro

Off we go on another Pinkcaravan adventure, this time I’m going back to South America. 

We start out in Rio de Janeiro and will go all the way south to Ushuaia before going back  north and will end up in Santiago, Chile. 

Then I’m going for a few days to Easter island. 

We started  out in Stockholm on a chilly morning. Getting on the plane for our first leg, to Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport. 

In Paris we had one of the longest waits I’ve ever experienced. Nine hours on what must be one of the worst airports ever. Everything seem to be worn down. There are lots of shops selling high end merchandise, but getting a proper meal is impossible. 

Eventually we got on the plane and started the long overnight flight to Rio.
