Merry Christmas!
It’s not often I get up before first light on Christmas, but today we had to.
Breakfast at six and then we went on our way. Bumpy roads for most of the day.
We made good time and had lunch with the mighty Kilimanjaro in the background. Not that we saw anything because of the clouds.
After lunch we gathered in the Bill bus for a game of Bingo which went on almost to our campsite in Karatu.
There we had dinner and around nine people started turning in.
Tomorrow is another day and we’ll have a late Christmas party.
