The first leg of our South American Adventure took us to Otavalo, a small, relaxed and nice town set in some beautiful scenery. A really nice change after being in Quito a few days.

I’ve just finished the first part of my nine weeks South American adventure. A wonderful start with some fanatic places and relaxing days on the M/V Santa Cruz, on an expedition in the Galapagos. We had some amazing days at sea and on shore discovering the natural wonders of the Galapagos.

I’m travelling to South America this winter and I needed a good way to backup my images on the road. I could have brought a PC, or bought an insanely expensive backup device. But using my Samsung Galaxy SII, an external drive, a powered hub and some other bits and pieces I came up with this idea. Works for me.
