Hot !

Is the first impression of Alice Springs. Getting of the plain and the dry hot air threatens to turn you into a raisin in seconds.

But it gets better. The hostel I’m in is quite nice, clean air conditioned rooms and a pool and a nice bar. I’ve just been over there now and had dinner.

Camel, it tastes like .. chicken..  nah.. it was good, but quit plain, you could probably pass it off as any other meat if you wanted to, the taste of it at least, the texture was a bit special.

So now I’m just gonna hang around here and perhaps grab another beer. Haven’t found anyone that’s going on my tour yet, but it seems a lot of people are here just to go on one of the many tours going out from here tomorrow.
