I’ve just finished the first part of my nine weeks South American adventure. A wonderful start with some fanatic places and relaxing days on the M/V Santa Cruz, on an expedition in the Galapagos. We had some amazing days at sea and on shore discovering the natural wonders of the Galapagos.

The first leg of our South American Adventure took us to Otavalo, a small, relaxed and nice town set in some beautiful scenery. A really nice change after being in Quito a few days.

We have left Ecuador and is heading into Peru. Border crossings are always a bit unpredictable, and when the local fishermen decide to block the road the scene is set for some improvisation. And in this case it turned out to be one of the best things that could happen.
